France joins the list of European countries like Germany and the Netherlands, which have been seeking clients for their excess swine flu vaccines.
Latest figures have revealed that swine flu has already claimed the lives of at least 12,220 individuals worldwide, the majority of whom were from the US and Canada.
Despite primary statements, health officials have claimed that a single H1N1 flu vaccine is sufficient to ward off swine flu symptoms, meaning that many developed countries have a massive oversupply of vaccines.
According to a statement released by the French Health Ministry, the country had bought 94 million doses of the H1N1 vaccine worth about 869 million euros (1.25 billion dollars) — presuming that every individual would require two jabs.
